✨ About The Role
- The Quality Controller will report to the Quality Engineer and will be responsible for daily line quality checking and shadow auditing.
- They will develop a deep understanding of Allbirds' quality standards and ensure their implementation for 100% Right First Time (RFT).
- The role involves monitoring the production process from pre-production onwards and ensuring continuous improvement at all stages.
- The Quality Controller will also be responsible for gathering production data and producing statistical reports to communicate QA/QC performance.
- They will actively participate in the development process to assess risks in future production and resolve potential manufacturing issues.
⚡ Requirements
- The ideal candidate is passionate about sustainability and committed to making improvements in manufacturing processes.
- They should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the footwear, apparel, or related consumer product industry, focusing on Manufacturing or Supplier Quality Management.
- A deep knowledge of Quality Management and Statistical Quality Control concepts is essential, along with the ability to suggest and implement best practices.
- The candidate must possess exceptional analytical and organizational skills, with a high learning agility to implement processes across footwear and apparel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are required, along with the ability to work independently with minimal direction.
