✨ About The Role
- The Accounting Manager will oversee Alo Yoga's accounting and finance operations for the Asia Pacific region, specifically managing the Korean subsidiary.
- This role involves partnering with a third-party service provider to complete the monthly close process, including bookkeeping and general ledger maintenance.
- The manager will supervise the monthly account reconciliation process and maintain accounting records in compliance with local laws and regulations.
- The position requires serving as a local point of contact for tax-related matters, including tax and VAT return filings.
- The Accounting Manager will also assist the corporate finance team in developing and monitoring budgeting for APAC markets.
âš¡ Requirements
- The ideal candidate should have at least 8 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
- A strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and internal controls is essential for success in this role.
- The candidate must be fluent in both oral and written English and Korean, with additional language skills being a plus.
- Experience working with large department stores in the Korean market is highly desirable.
