We are seeking a diligent and experienced Inventory Accountant to join our growing Accounting Team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in providing support in the accounting space, focused on inventory accounting, cost accounting, and related internal controls. To ensure accurate financial reporting, timely completion of month end close, provide support to peers and leadership, and adherence to best practices in general ledger accounting. You will be responsible for preparing journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations, updating accounting memos and process control narratives, preparing financial reports, and assisting with ad-hoc requests to help position Alto for future growth. As a key contributor, you will collaborate closely across departments to support strategic initiatives and provide valuable insights to management. This position will report to the Senior Manager, Inventory Accounting.
Physical requirements for this role include the ability to work at a computer terminal with monitor, keyboard and mouse for extended periods of time, stoop, bend, and reach for equipment and supplies, make frequent repetitive motions required to operate a computer that include the wrists, hands and fingers, and lift, carry, push, pull, and move light objects up to 20 pounds. The role also requires the ability to effectively communicate through verbal interactions, discern auditory information, and visually perceive details to perform essential job functions. Salary Range: $76,000 - $95,000

Travel: Yes - Required up to 5% of the time. This would exclusively be for org on/off sites throughout the year as needed.
