Sales Operations Sr. Analyst
Avaline is looking for a driven Sales Operations Sr. Analyst to bridge Finance, Sales, and Operations, ensuring smooth execution across our national distributor network. In this role, you'll combine data analysis, distributor management, and operational coordination to optimize sales strategies and keep our Inside Sales team focused on building relationships and driving revenue.
You'll oversee key processes—from order management and troubleshooting to reporting and analytics—while delivering insights that fuel distributor performance and support sustainable growth. Success in this role means keeping operations seamless, strengthening distributor partnerships, and empowering our team to hit ambitious goals.
We're seeking someone who is analytical, detail-oriented, and collaborative, with prior experience in the alcohol/beverage industry.
Reporting to the Controller. This is a remote position and can be based anywhere in the United States.
What You'll Do:
- Sales Responsibilities Drive depletion forecast ownership amongst the sales owners Collaborate with sales leadership to maintain monthly activity calendar inclusive of focus months, promotions, incentives, and events Program Effectiveness Measurement: Track ROI of promotions, incentives, and demo activity to provide insights into the effectiveness of trade spend Create recurring and ad-hoc sales reports to identify trends, risks, and opportunities by market, distributor, or SKU
- Operational Responsibilities Distributor Order Management and Support: Sales order entry, confirmation, and pickup coordination; this role will serve as the primary contact for distributor partners and will manage inventory on bailment Provide daily input for order/shipment status reporting Review and measurement of rolling SKU-level forecast accuracy Lead new item setup, pricing, and manage various data points across systems such as VIP, Tradeparency, and distributor-specific portals Organization of Depletion, Distributor Inventory, and Shipment data (actuals + forecasts) to give management a coherent understanding of volumetric sales Develop SOPs for order flow, reporting cadence, and data reconciliation to reduce errors and improve efficiency Identify and implement new tools that improve reporting, forecasting, and distributor communication efficiency
- Finance & Analytics Responsibilities Research, analyze, and monitor market depletion and size mix trends, financial rate per case trends, and variances to prior year and budget monthly to identify risks and opportunities, providing recommendations to improve mix and profitability Develop market analysis of distributor profitability by SKU and for total portfolio Assess and develop tools to track profitability by key retailers/channels, and evaluate distributor/retailer profitability including competitive suppliers Utilize software platforms to provide deal-level insights and analysis of depletion data Tracking distributor shipments & depletions to goals Assist in the development of sales spend in collaboration with finance to ensure alignment

Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Distributor Management, or Pricing
- Coordination in the alcohol/beverage industry
- Proficient in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, basic modeling)
- Proven ability to manage projects and deliverables with minimal oversight
- Bachelor's degree
The Sales Operations Sr. Analyst position will offer a salary of $75,000 - 90,000 per year + annual bonus, based on a variety of factors.
