✨ About The Role
- The Sourcing Manager will lead the execution of category sourcing strategies for ingredients, contract manufacturing, and packaging.
- This role involves collaborating with Bright and Eats teams to implement action plans for contract manufacturers and components.
- The candidate will be responsible for leading the supplier selection process and negotiating supplier agreements.
- Supporting supply chain initiatives, such as vendor management inventory programs and optimizing lead times, will be key responsibilities.
- The role includes engaging with marketing and product development teams to support new product launches and sourcing new materials.
⚡ Requirements
- The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a respected supply chain organization, particularly in managing direct material and packaging categories.
- A background in consumer packaged goods (CPG) or direct selling procurement within the food or consumable category is essential.
- Strong project management skills are necessary, including the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously while effectively communicating with stakeholders.
- The candidate should possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, to engage with internal and external audiences.
- A proactive and flexible individual who can motivate themselves and others, while also being open to constructive feedback, will thrive in this role.
- A bachelor's degree in business, chemistry, engineering, supply chain, or a related field is required.
