At Buck Mason, we believe in timeless style and quality craftsmanship. Our mission is to create classic American clothing that embodies simplicity and authenticity. We are looking for passionate individuals to join our merchandising team. As a Merchandising Operations Manager, you will play a critical role in driving efficiency and alignment across Buck Mason's merchandising lifecycle. This role bridges the gap between design, development, and production to ensure smooth seasonal execution from concept to customer. Product and brand obsession is a must. The perfect candidate has a high taste for the American classics, is deeply analytical, and is an entrepreneur who loves to drive business.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage the merchandising calendar, ensuring key milestones across product development, buying, and allocation are met.
  • Lead seasonal set-up processes in relevant systems; maintain accuracy and data integrity across platforms.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Design, Development, and Production to manage product flow and timelines.
  • Monitor and optimize SKU lifecycle management — including product setup and classification.
  • Support the merchandising team in executing assortment strategies and line architecture.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for system-related merchandising inquiries and training.
  • Support go-to-market readiness across retail and digital channels with timely product data, delivery updates, and launch plans.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in merchandising operations, planning, buying, or related field.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects, systems, and timelines across multiple teams.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
  • Deep understanding of product lifecycle management, ERP systems, and merchandising tools.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PLM, and inventory management systems.
  • Passion for product, process, and the Buck Mason brand.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive pay
  • Health, dental & vision insurance
  • Fitness & wellness benefits
  • 401k retirement savings plan with company matching
  • Quarterly clothing allowance
