We're looking for a Retail Account Manager to lead and grow Bushbalm's most important retail relationships. This role will own our #1 retailer, Ulta Beauty, our #2 retailer, Shoppers Drug Mart, and support the expansion of strategic partners like FabFitFun, Ipsy, and future wholesale accounts.

You'll be accountable for hitting revenue, distribution, and sell-through targets—while ensuring Bushbalm shows up flawlessly at shelf and online. You'll partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Product to drive launches, promotions, forecasting accuracy, and best-in-class execution. This is a high-impact role for someone who loves retail, thrives on performance, and wants to build something big.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary senior point of contact for Ulta Beauty across buying, planning, merchandising, and marketing teams.
  • Build and execute annual and quarterly Joint Business Plans (JBPs) to achieve revenue, margin, and distribution goals.
  • Lead line reviews, assortment planning, SKU productivity analysis, and door expansion strategies.
  • Develop and manage promotional calendars, coordinating offers, pricing, and retail media to drive velocity.
  • Identify whitespace opportunities for new categories, exclusives, endcaps, and featured placements.
  • Ensure best-in-class digital shelf execution (PDP content, imagery, education, SEO, reviews) in partnership with internal teams.
  • Own the Shoppers relationship, ensuring distribution growth, clean execution, and consistent sell-through improvement.
  • Collaborate on promotions, seasonal programs, merchandising, and digital initiatives that align to Shoppers strategy.
  • Track towards a full chain roll out.
  • Maintain operational excellence across forecasting, POs, and in-stock performance.
  • Lead commercial planning and execution with subscription box and additional retail partners to drive incremental, profitable growth.
  • Manage end-to-end coordination of partner programs including product selection, forecasting, timelines, and fulfillment.
  • Ensure partner activity supports brand equity and complements core retail strategy.
  • Source, evaluate, and support new wholesale opportunities as the retail portfolio expands.
  • Track and optimize P&L performance by account (revenue, margin, trade spend, co-op, ROI).
  • Contribute to account-level forecasting with accuracy; proactively manage risk, upside, and inventory health.
  • Report weekly/monthly performance and lead internal retail business reviews with clear insights and action plans.
  • Partner with Marketing to build tailored retail go-to-market plans for launches, promos, and retail media.
  • Work with Supply Chain to ensure on-time delivery, healthy inventory levels, and proactive problem solving.
  • Collaborate with Product on innovation direction using retailer insights and category trends.
  • Champion retail needs internally and keep teams aligned on priorities and timelines.
