✨ About The Role
- The Business Planning Manager will report to the VP of Financial Planning & Analysis and oversee planning and forecasting for various channels.
- Responsibilities include developing the annual revenue budget and owning monthly revenue reforecasts.
- The role involves partnering with the Operations team to provide accurate revenue forecasts to meet inventory needs.
- The candidate will propose and establish pricing for existing and new product lines across different sales channels.
- They will conduct margin analysis on existing products and analyze potential new product launches for risks and opportunities.
- The Business Planning Manager will develop hindsight reporting by season and partner with channels to create assortment strategies.
- They will also manage and develop a team of three.
⚡ Requirements
- The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree and at least 6 years of retail planning experience with a global brand.
- They should possess strong analytical skills and be able to balance analytics with product and market trends.
- Experience managing and mentoring direct reports is essential for this role.
- The candidate must have advanced skills in retail math and a deep understanding of sales, gross margin, and return on investment.
- Excellent Excel skills and familiarity with planning tools such as JD Edwards or Adaptive are preferred.
- The successful candidate will be able to build and maintain positive relationships with peers and cross-functional teams.
- They should be adept at managing multiple projects while prioritizing and meeting deadlines.
- Strong presentation skills are necessary to communicate business strategies and action plans to all levels of management.
