Senior Demand And Supply Planning Manager APAC plays a pivotal role in driving planning excellence across the region. This position is responsible for leading the end-to-end planning process, ensuring effective demand forecasting, and seamless supply coordination. It is an impactful and essential role to develop the appreciation of local markets and deliver results from a close understanding of regional priorities and strategies.
We are looking for someone with demonstrated both demand and supply planning expertise, who is not only experienced in getting results but also in embedding supply planning best practices across functions. This individual will be a process owner who has excellent attention to details, great analytical skills to roll up their sleeves and get stuck into the operation, who can also work strategically to overcome long-term challenges in an exceptionally fast-growing business.
Role Accountabilities
- Lead demand planning activities in collaboration with commercial, finance, and marketing teams to align with business strategies.
- Develop an efficient rolling demand forecasts using statistical models, market intelligence, and cross functional inputs.
- Singular contact to global supply planning team on regional strategies, priorities and month over month forecast changes.
- Accountable for identifying supply gaps to forecast and work with global to mitigate risk through scenario planning and contingency strategies.
- Facilitate the monthly S&OP meeting and present key insight to senior leadership.
- Weekly analysis of sell-in patterns against forecast, with supply planning adjustments as necessary.
- Be responsible for leading a complex portfolio of products, including reformulation with high level of promotional volumes and alternate customer channels, and/or a high degree of demand seasonality.
- Assess feasibility of additional regional sell-in opportunities within blocked horizon.
- Assign and manage regional MOC targets based on ABC sku and transit consideration. Pass on regional stock needs to global supply chain in the monthly cycle.
- Partner with operations team to identify forecast deviation and/or supply constraints with the goal to minimize out of stocks and prevent the build of excess and obsolete inventory.
- Drive enhancements in planning systems, tools and processes to increase efficiency and responsiveness.
- Mentor and develop a small team of planners, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
