We are looking for highly motivated individuals to support our diamond production. As a Production Technician, you will be joining a team of highly skilled equipment and process technicians and engineers. This position includes hands-on operation of complex semiconductor-style plasma CVD manufacturing equipment, lasers, and various other types of equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Uses various instruments and methods to perform production tasks.
  • Operates various complex production equipment including lasers.
  • Rigorously follows all procedures and all safety protocols.
  • Paying close attention to detail ensures material is moved from station to station in the correct sequence.

Requirements:

  • Excellent manual dexterity and ability to pay attention to detail.
  • Maintains a well-organized, clean, and safe work area.
  • Use of required PPE and safety protocols.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities, working with teams as well as independently.
  • Frequently lifting up and lowering down a 25-pound metal disk into a chamber while standing on a step ladder.
  • No work restrictions and excellent vision.
  • A qualified candidate will have the following set of skills:
  • Manufacturing experience, experience with lasers, and precision assembly are a plus.
  • Able and willing to work off shift including weekends.

$21 - $25 an hour

Actual compensation may be higher or lower in the range based on various factors, including, but not limited to a candidate's job duties, experience, and expertise. We will also consider higher-level candidates and wages will be adjusted accordingly.

Manufacturing and Engineering Departments Physical Requirements:

  • Use appropriate PPE and follow all safety policies, practices, and procedures.
  • This position will often: Sit, stand for long periods, walk, grasp, reach with hands and arms, lift below and above shoulders, bend, twist at the waist, climb, balance, stoop, squat, kneel, crawl, talk, hear, see, use fine finger manipulation, and complete repetitive motions.
  • Some tasks may require the use of ladders or stairs.
  • Some tasks may require driving or the use of foot controls.
  • Lift/carry and push/pull up to 50 pounds.
  • Able to climb 20 ft (ladder) and properly use fall protection equipment.
