The Project Manager, Product Development keeps innovation moving at e.l.f. speed—bold, efficient, and always delivering value. You'll drive prioritization, planning, and partnerships for end-to-end product creation across formula and packaging. Your superpower is simplifying the complex: streamlining workflows, clarifying communication, and removing blockers so our teams can create products that raise the bar. You'll manage intake and prioritization of product development work, collaborating with lead stakeholders and the 360 marketing team to launch high-impact initiatives. Expect close partnership with Product Innovation, Product Development/R&D, and Packaging teams across New York, Oakland, and Shanghai.
Timeline & Project Management
- Own end-to-end operational planning and project management across categories and brands—from concept to shelf—with clear timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Track the project portfolio and co-lead the weekly work schedule with key stakeholders (product teams, creative leadership) to maintain momentum and accountability.
- Identify risks early, troubleshoot decisively, and protect launch dates and quality.
- Facilitate key touchpoints for product and packaging; drive agendas, capture decisions, and ensure crisp follow-through.
- Lead review meetings with senior management; deliver succinct updates and data-backed recommendations.
- Manage the project management system, milestones, and communications to keep visibility high and friction low.
- Integrate store and digital needs, including sampling procurement for photoshoots and content.
Process Improvement
- Design, document, and champion scalable processes for new product creation and product updates.
- Surface pain points, reduce complexity, and unlock efficiencies across the product lifecycle.
- Establish long-range planning and resourcing models.
- Improve visibility to product and sample status so teams can make fast, confident decisions.
Intake, Prioritization & Resource Management
- Act as the operational hub—clarifying priorities, requests, and resourcing.
- Ensure work is well-scoped, actionable, and aligned to strategic outcomes; follow up to fill gaps when needed.
- Partner with business owners and creative leads to translate requirements, build realistic schedules, and resolve conflicts.
- Drive active prioritization of new requests to protect focus and on-time delivery.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Build and sustain trusted relationships across creative and business partners; be the connector who aligns and accelerates.
- Coordinate with project managers in adjacent areas (Digital, Stores/Merchandising) to ensure seamless, end-to-end execution.
Requirements
What You Bring
- BA/BS required.
- 5+ years of project management experience within marketing operations
- Fluency with PMO tools and practices—initiative management, risk management, communication management.

The base salary range for this role is listed above. Total compensation includes base salary, annual company-based performance bonus, and equity. Under e.l.f.'s annual bonus program, employees are eligible to earn up to 200% of their target bonus when company performance exceeds defined goals. In addition, e.l.f. provides a variety of other benefits to employees, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, a retirement savings plan, gender neutral parental leave, and unlimited paid time off. The amount of total compensation (including base salary) offered will be based on a wide range of factors, including geographic location, experience, specific skills, and qualifications.
