The position serves as a key liaison between Quality, Regulatory, R&D, Packaging, Supply Chain and external partners (e.g. Contract Manufacturers, Suppliers, local Authorities).
Ensures the ongoing quality and compliance of marketed products.
Responsible for the management of post market quality activities including complaints, deviations, concessions, Annual Product Reviews (APR), recalls and continuous improvement initiatives.
Lead Quality investigation in case of Post Launch quality issues.
Lead the implementation of Product and Process Deviations when required.
Ensures the Quality and Regulatory Agreements are in place and effective with our distributors.
Establish a partnership with local Sales and Marketing leaders.
Acts as the key contact to communicate quality issues and actions to local country leaders.
Address Marketed Product Quality (MPQ) related incidents with various functions through effective CAPA.
Coordinate Quality topics with our Canadian distributor to mitigate any business risks.
Lead quality activities and initiatives relative to Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API).
Travel as needed.
Partner with the QMS Manager to develop a global QMS, maintain, and fine-tune with matching e.l.f. business strategy.
Participate and lead Business Quality aspects during the development of new local and global SOPs, Work Instructions, and Forms.
Bachelor's or above degree, majoring in chemistry, biology, or other related technical disciplines preferred.
6+ years' experience in Quality Assurance, and experience in the Cosmetic and OTC industry is highly preferred.
6+ years of experience in QA and/or plant operation with a good understanding of GMP and QA requirements.
Risk analysis and management under stress.
Strong sense of urgency.
Strong collaboration and influencing skills under remote management.
Root cause analysis and problem solving with minimum business impact.
$90,000 - $110,000 a year.
