Senior Manager, Supply Chain Data Scientist
The Senior Manager, Supply Chain Data Scientist serves as a senior technical and strategic thought partner, defining solution architectures, influencing product and business decisions, and ensuring that analytical solutions are both technically rigorous and operationally viable. The ideal candidate can lead end-to-end solutioning independently, manage ambiguity and complex stakeholder dynamics, and communicate technical and business risk effectively across teams and leadership levels. SQL and Python programming, and working with ML modeling will be a daily activity as you work with Snowflake data sets to build out planning and network optimization models.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the framing, design, and delivery of advanced optimization and machine learning solutions for high-impact retail supply chain challenges.
- Lead successful implementation and development of advanced planning and scheduling software, including network optimization and scenario planning.
- Creating supply chain planning tools to improve planning processes, increasing accuracy and efficiency
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining key performance indicators for supply chain planning
- Build ad hoc reports for supply chain planning functions to help improve planning processes and communications
- Refining statistical and machine learning forecasting models to minimize forecast error and bias
- Develop Supply planning tools that include rough cut and finite capacity constraining
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience with advanced SQL and Python programming for data mapping, transformation and querying.
- Prefer 3+ years' experience within Supply Planning, Inventory Optimization, or Supply Chain Analytics.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to lead cross-functional data initiatives.
- Proven organizational skills, problem-solving ability, and leadership experience.
- Bachelor's degree minimum, advanced degree preferred.
- High drive for results and willing to work in a demanding & rapid paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Excellent analytical, follow-up, and attention to detail skills.
- Ability to work autonomously across functions to meet deadlines and drive tasks to completion.
- System implementation experience a plus.
- Excellent Excel Skills and knowledge; proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word and PowerPoint).
$105,000 - $140,000 a year
The base salary range for this role is listed above.
Total compensation includes base salary, annual company-based performance bonus, and equity. Under e.l.f.'s annual bonus program, employees are eligible to earn up to 200% of their target bonus when company performance exceeds defined goals. The amount of total compensation (including base salary) offered will be based on a wide range of factors, including geographic location, experience, specific skills, and qualifications.
