The salary range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00 per hour based upon a San Francisco location.
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Temporary Associate Manager to cover a maternity leave within our Sourcing team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a crucial role in Fenty Beauty key projects related to new product launches ("newness") and product change management, ensuring timely and efficient execution. You will be responsible for supporting the strategic sourcing and procurement activities, working closely with cross-functional teams to bring innovative cosmetic products to market.
Responsibilities:
- Sourcing & Procurement: Support the sourcing of packaging components and finished goods, focusing on cost optimization, quality, and supply chain efficiency.
- Project Support: Support the sourcing and purchasing aspects of new product development (newness) and product change management initiatives. Work with project managers to ensure project timelines are respected and provide input on sourcing/purchasing feasibility and lead times.
- Supplier Management: Assist in managing relationships with key suppliers, including negotiation of pricing and terms, monitoring performance, and resolving any issues.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Packaging, Product Development, Brand and Operations teams to ensure seamless execution of projects from concept to launch.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze market trends, supplier data, and cost information to identify opportunities for improvement and cost savings. Prepare reports and presentations to communicate project status and key metrics to stakeholders.
- Change Management: Manage product change requests, ensuring proper documentation, communication, and implementation across all relevant departments.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, quality standards, and company policies.
- Cost Tracking: Help track and manage project costs, identifying cost-saving opportunities where possible.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in sourcing, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably within the cosmetics or personal care industry.
- Experience working within a project management framework and collaborating with project managers.
- Strong understanding of sourcing and procurement processes, including supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for the beauty industry and a keen interest in cosmetic products
