Accounting Manager

The Accounting Manager will report directly to the Finance Director, this role will support the day-to-day aspects of accounting management, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, banking and our corporate credit card programs.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all day-to-day accounting functions in our general ledger system, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and recording bank transactions
• Manage vendor and customer relationships, including responding to accounting inquiries, supporting vendor onboarding, and maintaining proper documentation
• Work closely with the logistics team to ensure that all purchase orders and receipts are properly recorded.
• Assist in managing the sales orders process and help ensure that orders are fulfilled and invoices are sent to clients in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate and complete financial records for cash activities and business transactions.
• Ensure all corporate card users submit their expenses on a timely basis with the appropriate documentation.

Required Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience
• Advanced Excel skills
• Attention to detail and the ability to analyze large amounts of data
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Working knowledge of various accounting and operations software platforms and cloud-based accounting system
• Understanding of the full-cycle accounting & month-end closing experience and all that it entails for startups and growing businesses.

Preferred Experience:

• NetSuite experience a plus
• Knowledge of GAAP
• Experience with DCAA and government contracts a plus
• Experience working for a high-growth manufacturing or electronics R&D company a plus

ITAR: U.S. Citizen or Green Card Required
