About the Role: What's in the Box
This role sits at the heart of International Logistics, serving as the central owner of global logistics standards, spanning performance metrics, core operational processes, and supporting SOPs that underpin the Logistics, Transportation & Planning (LT&P) operating model. You will own, evolve, and embed global KPIs alongside the definition and custodianship of central standard processes and SOPs across Middle Mile, Exceptions, Tracking ID Service (TIS), and the Business Operating System (BOS). With a strong focus on 2026 Delivery Operations (DO) and Delivery Experience (DX) Key Results, the role blends project execution, business partnering, and operational rollout across international markets.
Please note that this role is offered on a fixed-term basis for 24 months, with the aim of transitioning to a permanent position afterward.
What You'll Do: The Recipe
- Own and maintain global logistics KPIs (e.g. Errors, TIS, Perfect Order Rate), ensuring consistency, documentation, and alignment across different markets.
- Lead and support global process standardisation for Middle Mile, partnering closely with Tech, Operations and the BI team.
- Define and implement standardised exceptions and error-logging processes, embedding them into our global BOS.
- Drive delivery exception recovery initiatives, including market expansion scoping, post-implementation collaboration, and rollout planning.
- Act as the key business partner for Operations BI, supporting MBRs, QBRs, and DX quarterly to provide the data-driven narrative for senior leadership.
- Execute LT&P DO & DX initiatives through structured project management, change management, and stakeholder coordination and partner closely with regional teams (AU, NZ, EU, UK, US, CA) to ensure global process alignment and visibility.
- Balance project delivery with BAU metric support, mitigating operational risk until automation is achieved
What You'll Bring: The Ingredients
- Strong foundational project management skills, including structured ways of working, stakeholder management, transparent communication, and change management ideally gained within logistics or FMCG environments.
- Ability to understand business cases, outcome drivers, and end-to-end supply chain implications.
- High intrinsic motivation with clear prioritisation skills and confidence to push back strategically when needed.
- Comfort diving into complex workflows and problem-solving at both conceptual and executional levels.
- Empathy for internal customers paired with a mindset for global standardisation and consistency.
- Excellent documentation skills, commitment to SOPs and process clarity, additional Data analytics experience is a plus.
- Comfortable with an 80/20 split between project work and repetitive tasks, including flexibility for 20% annual travel and global time zone collaboration.
