Note: This is a seasonal part-time contract (4 month) role that requires flexibility to work any day between Tuesday and Sunday. Shift schedules may vary based on operational needs, including occasional evenings or weekends. Preference will be given to candidates who can accommodate a flexible schedule.
Are you ready to join an exciting and dynamic team? We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join us as a Production Associate. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in our production process.
As a Production Associate, you will be responsible for receiving raw ingredients, preparing raw ingredients, assisting cooks and chefs during the cooking process, plating of meals, and fulfilling boxes for customer orders while following all safety, GMP and SQF policies/procedures. Other tasks as assigned.
Work in any of the following functional areas as required; Kitchen, Plating, Pick and Pack, Shipping/Receiving as designated by the reporting manager
Ensure quality of product meets Company Standards
Ensure accuracy when weighing or portioning products
Ensure accuracy and efficiency at designated ship out stations
Clean and sanitize all equipment and work areas within the facility, ensuring all waste and packaging are properly categorized and disposed and/or recycled of as per instructions and training
Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge
Foster a positive and respectful work environment by maintaining professional communication and behavior with coworkers and promoting a sense of teamwork and collaboration
Work in compliance with OH&S acts and regulations
Use personal protective and safety equipment and clothing as directed by the employer and report workplace hazards and dangers to the supervisor or employer
At a minimum, you have:
6 months of experience in food production facility is an asset
Level 1 First Aid is considered an asset.
