Sr. Culinary Product Manager (maternity Cover)

The Role

As a Sr. Culinary Product Manager, you will be responsible for the culinary performance of our product and work in close collaboration with the culinary management team and insights from recipe development to define and execute the strategic roadmap. Managing a diverse team of 5 recipe developers and testers, you will direct the use of resources through effective prioritization and planning. This role involves providing guidance, support, and direction to team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. You will ultimately ensure we develop the best possible recipes and execute weekly sprints through continuously improved processes.

This is a 12 month Maternity Cover contract.

You will…

• Participate in the definition and prioritization of Culinary initiatives to align with HelloFresh Nordics product strategic priorities, balancing commercial requirements, culinary excellence, and resource allocation.
• Own the creation and culinary performance of all products (recipes, surcharge recipes, and add-ons) and ensure a quick and effective implementation through resources in your team.
• Own the Recipe Development process end-to-end, and spot inefficiencies and potential improvements by adopting a continuous improvement mindset.
• Lead, develop, and grow the Recipe Development and Validation team through strong leadership and frequent feedback sessions with your direct reports. Support individual development and performance via training and development opportunities to team members as needed.
• Foster a culture that blends performance-drivenness, innovation and collaboration and contribute to shaping the organization of the team, incl. recruiting new team members when needed.
• Work closely cross-functionally with the product team to align recipe development resources with menu and marketing product requirements.
• Work closely cross-functionally with the ingredient team to ensure the new ingredient roadmap accurately reflects the needs for recipe development and meets recipe development guardrail requirements.
• Analyze, understand, and optimize the performance of our recipes. This includes tracking and explaining our progress on yearly objectives, and the performance of our monthly product marketing campaigns.

You have…

• Minimum of 4 years experience in Product Management, Product Development, Business Development, R&D role, in a FMCG or Food-related business
• Strong passion for food, and stay up-to date on culinary trends
• A strategic mindset, with strong result-orientation and goal setting abilities
• Strong leadership skills, with a focus on people management and career development
• Excellent communication and decision-making abilities
• Data-driven mindset, with strong business acumen and drive for process excellence
• Ability to think in the customer's shoes, fostering a customer-centric culture
• Ability to be agile and thrive in a highly dynamic environment
• English is our working language. Knowledge of Nordic languages is a bonus
