We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Sr. Planner to help support resource and production planning for our growing business. This position ensures optimal use of labor, materials, and manufacturing capacity to support forecasted demand, customer delivery targets, and inventory objectives. The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented planner with a strong understanding of integrated planning systems, supply chain dynamics, and cross-functional collaboration.
Develop, maintain, and execute mid- and long-term production plans in alignment with demand forecasts and inventory policies.
Generate detailed weekly schedules to ensure timely availability of finished goods while
minimizing waste and downtime.
Collaborate with compounding operations team to evaluate capacity constraints and
adjust plans accordingly.
Monitor production performance against plan, analyze variances, and implement
corrective actions.
Translate demand forecasts into actionable resource plans including labor, machine
time, and equipment utilization.
Partner with Compounding Operations to align workforce availability with production
needs, including overtime, shift planning, and staffing optimization.
Develop capacity models and what-if scenarios to support strategic decisions around
investment, outsourcing, and contingency planning.
Implement and maintain tools and dashboards to monitor real-time resource allocation
and effectiveness.
Develop reports, KPIs, and dashboards to communicate production status and forecast
accuracy to leadership.
5+ years experience in at least 1 of the following: Production planning, resource planning or scheduling
Proficient in inventory management concepts with an understanding of the financial and
operational implications of planning decisions
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or
related field; APICS/CPIM certification a plus.
Excel proficiency including experience with data manipulations – Lookups, PivotTables,
External Data Connections
Basic SQL and/or Python experience is a plus
Deep knowledge of supply chain and manufacturing planning processes.
Strong analytical skills and comfort with data-driven decision making.
Proficient in Excel and planning software; ability to work with large data sets and create
actionable insights.
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
