We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Production Planning Manager to join our team at K18. This role will be responsible for developing and driving production schedules, optimizing inventory levels, and ensuring efficient co-manufacturing operations to meet business and customer demands. The ideal candidate will work closely with supply planning, co-manufacturing partners, component suppliers, and logistics teams to maintain seamless production workflows.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Supply Planning to develop production schedules based on demand forecasts, inventory levels, and capacity constraints; drive production process from PO submission to 3PL delivery.
• Ensure efficient material and resource planning to meet production targets while minimizing waste e.g. minimizing air freight.
• Collaborate with suppliers and co-manufacturing teams to monitor production progress and address any deviations or bottlenecks.
• Optimize batch production cycles to enhance operational efficiency and reduce lead times.
• Work closely with supply planning, co-manufacturers, and warehouse teams to ensure the availability of raw materials and packaging components.
• Monitor inventory levels to prevent overstocking or stockouts and coordinate replenishments accordingly.
• Identify and implement best practices to streamline production planning and scheduling processes.
• Utilize ERP/MRP systems for data analysis, reporting, and optimization of production workflows.
• Provide & review key metrics related to production performance, capacity utilization, and inventory management as part of Quarterly Business Review
• Support cost-reduction initiatives by identifying opportunities for process improvements and waste minimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
• 5-7 years of experience in production planning, supply chain management, or related roles; experience working with CPG suppliers a plus.
• Proficiency with ERP and MRP systems, including experience in configuring and managing planning parameters.
• Proven problem-solving skills and a resourceful approach to overcoming challenges.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities, capable of balancing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interface across organizational levels and functions.
• Team-oriented mindset with the flexibility to work independently and collaboratively.
• Willingness to travel up to 15% of the time as required.

Salary Range: $90,000-$105,000 USD

This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. The actual base salary will depend on numerous factors such as: experience, knowledge and skills, and if the location of the job changes.
