Visual Merchandising Project Specialist

Position Overview

K18 is seeking a detail-oriented and creatively driven Visual Merchandising Project Specialist to help bring our brand to life at retail. In this individual contributor role, you will support the execution of innovative visual merchandising programs across global markets, working closely with the Director of Visual Merchandising and cross-functional partners to ensure seamless delivery of in-store displays, experiences and retailer events.

You'll manage visual merchandising & retail event projects from concept through installation—handling timelines, vendor communications, purchase orders and executional details—while helping to elevate the retail expression of K18.

This role will be primarily focus on planogram creation and 3D fixture/spatial design. This is not a graphic design position.

Responsibilities

  • Project Execution: Manage the full lifecycle of visual merchandising projects, from planning to delivery. Track timelines, budgets, and approvals to ensure projects launch on time and on brand.
  • Vendor Coordination: Serve as a key point of contact for vendors and production partners. Manage requests, production timelines, and logistics to ensure accurate, high-quality output.
  • Creative Implementation: Translate creative concepts into execution-ready documents such as planograms, schematics and briefs. Support the Director in reviewing prototypes, mockups, and vendor proofs.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams (Marketing, Sales, Editorial, Operations) to align visual merchandising efforts with product launches, promotions, and retail priorities.

Skills & Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of experience in visual merchandising and retail design
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Experience working with production vendors and fixture suppliers
  • Proficient in: Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Dimension a plus), SketchUp and Google Workspace on a Mac platform
  • Experience in Graphic Design a plus but not required
  • Knowledge of project management software Wrike or similar
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills
  • Ability to manage multiple timelines and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Background in beauty, fashion, or consumer lifestyle brands preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Visual Merchandising, Graphic, Interior Design, Marketing, or a related field is a plus but not required

This position may require occasional travel to local retail locations, merchandising partner meetings, and industry events.

Hourly Range: $30.00– $34.00 USD

This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. The actual base salary will depend on numerous factors such as: experience, knowledge and skills, and if the location of the job changes.
