The compensation target range for this role is: $102,000 - $120,000

Job Description

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Implements quality control and quality assurance processes, procedures, and manual in accordance with ISO standards.
• Drafts and maintains standard operating procedures, manuals, and documentation for the manufacturing and QA processes.
• Coordinates employee efforts to ensure efficient production and manufacturing lines.
• Maintains Electronic quality management system by training and administrating necessary updates.
• Facilitates communication among production departments and management.
• Drafts and implements policies and procedures to improve the manufacturing process and the quality of goods produced.
• Drafts and maintains logs, records, and other documentation of testing procedures, methodologies, and criteria.
• Maintains records of test results, defects identified, and other key metrics related to quality control.
• Analyzes quality control test results and offers feedback and interpretations of those results to production management or staff.
• Maintains knowledge of trends, developments, and technological advances in the applicable industry and in the quality control field.
• Monitors and periodically reports on production quality, nonconformance, trends, and underlying causes of defects in products or processes.
• Acts as a filer point for all internal and external audits.
• Conduct Internal audits.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Understanding of quality control standards and methodology.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in related industrial, scientific, or business field preferred.
• At least three years of related experience in manufacturing and production required.
• Requires up to 25% travel to other Purple facilities.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
