The Role: Quality Control Supervisor, Apparel

Responsibilities:

• Oversee QC operations and provide guidance to QC staff at the fulfillment center, sample receiving, proper document filing and record keeping.
• Ensure work of staff is in compliance with good documentation practices.
• Prepare and submit daily QC reports, timely completion and collection of inspection reports, as required.
• Interact with field QC managers and Mfg. partners to ensure quality of all products and services, resolve issues and improvement when needed.
• Manage sample submission to 3rd party laboratories in supporting product performance research and product improvement initiatives.
• Develop and implement QC training programs.
• Collaborate with QA/QC, Sourcing, Logistics and 3rd party fulfillment partners in day-to-day operations to ensure product quality and best customer experience.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in science or engineering or relevant field
• 5+ years of proven experience in quality control. Ideally in consumer goods or retail industries.
• Quality control experience in a manufacturing environment and/or field quality experience would be a plus.
• Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different partners
• Demonstrated proficiency in root cause analysis as applied in a warehouse/fulfillment or Mfg environment.
