Sourcing Manager - Home Textiles (SEA)

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Sourcing Manager specializing in Home Textiles to lead our sourcing efforts across Southeast Asia (SEA). In this role, you'll play a key part in building and managing supplier relationships to ensure our home textile products (such as bedding, towels, and linens) meet Quince's high standards for quality, sustainability, and cost-efficiency. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for home textiles, focusing on SEA markets (e.g., Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand) to identify, evaluate, and onboard new vendors while maintaining relationships with existing partners.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to achieve cost savings without compromising on quality, sustainability, or ethical standards.
- Collaborate with design, product development, and operations teams to manage product programs, from fabric/yarn selection to final production, ensuring timelines and specifications are met.
- Conduct market research on trends in home textiles, materials (e.g., organic cotton, woven specialties), and sustainable practices to inform sourcing decisions.
- Oversee quality control processes, including factory audits, compliance checks for environmental and labor standards, and risk management in the supply chain.
- Monitor production output, resolve issues related to procurement, and optimize inventory to minimize waste and support our direct-shipping model.
- Travel to supplier sites in SEA as needed to build strong partnerships and ensure alignment with Quince's values of transparency and responsibility.
- Analyze supplier performance metrics and provide reports to senior leadership on cost efficiencies, sustainability impacts, and opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications and Requirements
- 5-15 years of experience in sourcing or procurement, with a strong focus on home textiles (e.g., fabrics, yarns, woven products) in the apparel or home goods industry.
- Proven track record in vendor development, negotiation, and managing international supply chains, particularly in SEA regions.
- Deep knowledge of textile materials, manufacturing processes, and sustainability practices (e.g., organic certifications, eco-friendly dyes).
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Textile Engineering, Business, or a related field; advanced certifications (e.g., in sustainable sourcing) are a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration and building global relationships.
- Strong analytical abilities, with proficiency in tools like Excel, ERP systems, or supply chain software.
- Ability to travel internationally (up to 30%) and adapt to a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with DTC brands or fast-fashion alternatives emphasizing ethical production.
