✨ About The Role

- The Manufacturing Technician will set up, operate, and maintain shot peen, media finish, or balancing machines. - Responsibilities include performing simple troubleshooting of machines and following established procedures and work instructions. - The role involves conducting risk assessments and implementing corrective and preventive measures. - Maintaining day-to-day 6S lean activities to ensure a safe work environment is a key duty. - The technician will work cross-functionally to support various manufacturing processes and participate in EH&S programs. - Supporting continuous improvement programs and additional tasks assigned by the supervisor is also part of the job.

âš¡ Requirements

- The ideal candidate will have a NITEC in Precision, Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, or an equivalent qualification. - A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in Shot Peening, Media Finish, or Balancing is required. - Candidates should be comfortable with hands-on work and operating tools and equipment. - Attention to detail and a meticulous approach to tasks are essential for success in this role. - The ability to understand basic technical instructions and standard operating procedures is necessary. - Willingness to work permanent night shifts and overtime as needed is expected.
