✨ About The Role
- The Manager of Packaging Engineering & Sustainability will lead technical packaging development for existing and new product projects at Ritual.
- This role involves collaborating with various teams, including Brand, Creative, Quality, R&D, and Operations, to select appropriate packaging that meets brand standards and sustainability guidelines.
- The position requires the creation and management of packaging specifications, including materials, dimensions, and performance measures.
- The candidate will serve as the technical packaging leader within cross-functional project teams and will champion innovation opportunities from concept to execution.
- The role includes conducting packaging tests using lab equipment to evaluate durability, safety, and performance under various conditions.
- The Manager will also be responsible for managing Lifecycle Assessments (LCAs) and ensuring compliance with relevant packaging regulations.
⚡ Requirements
- The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Packaging Technology/Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in the consumer packaging goods space, preferably in food, supplements, or personal care, is essential.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to communicate proactively with cross-functional teams are crucial for success in this role.
- The candidate should possess technical expertise in managing large data sets and be knowledgeable about packaging regulations and sustainability practices.
- A passion for continuous learning and improvement, along with a creative approach to problem-solving, will be beneficial.
