Manufacturing Sourcing Specialist

Rogue Fitness is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Sourcing Specialist to join our supply chain team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing high-quality raw materials, components, and manufacturing services to support our production of world-class fitness equipment. This role requires strong negotiation skills, industry knowledge, and a commitment to maintaining Rogue's standards of excellence in quality and efficiency. The Manufacturing Sourcing Specialist is a fully onsite role in Columbus, Ohio. Remote work is not available. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with domestic and international suppliers for raw materials and manufacturing components
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to ensure cost-effectiveness while maintaining quality standards
  • Collaborate with product development, production, and quality assurance teams to align sourcing strategies with product specifications
  • Create and maintain organized, clear, and repeatable records and processes
  • Monitor supplier performance, ensuring timely delivery, quality compliance, and adherence to Rogue's sustainability and ethical sourcing standards
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, new suppliers, and cost-saving opportunities in the manufacturing supply chain
  • Manage supplier risk, including assessing supply chain disruptions and developing contingency plans

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in manufacturing or fitness equipment industries
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, particularly for metal fabrication, packaging, or industrial components
  • Proven negotiation skills with a track record of securing favorable supplier contracts
  • Advanced Excel skills to analyze supplier costs, performance metrics and market trends
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Knowledge of fitness equipment manufacturing or passion for fitness is a plus
