✨ About The Role

- The Purchasing Intern will be responsible for purchasing transactions and maintaining inventories of materials and equipment. - The role involves working closely with team members in manufacturing, distribution, and customer service to understand the organization's operations. - Interns will manage projects related to supply chain improvements and cost reduction initiatives. - Daily tasks will include reviewing orders for accuracy and entering data for production scheduling and inventory adjustments. - Interns will complete a 10-week project and present their findings to the Leadership team and other interns at the end of the internship.

- The ideal candidate is a student currently enrolled in a relevant field such as Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or Economics. - Previous experience or knowledge in supply chain, purchasing, or inventory systems is preferred. - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for managing multiple projects and tasks effectively. - The candidate should possess analytical skills and be comfortable using spreadsheets to optimize inventory and supply chain performance. - A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment will contribute to success in this role.
