As an Accounting Specialist at ROKA, you'll help the team stay aligned and keep our financial operations running smoothly. You'll support the accounting team by managing routine financial processes such as reconciling Shopify and Afterpay deposits, monitoring billing and accounting inboxes, and assisting with accounts payable and B2B invoicing.

Responsibilities:

• Reconcile daily deposits from e-commerce and payment platforms, including Shopify and Afterpay
• Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations and assist with month-end close activities
• Monitor accounting and billing inboxes, ensuring invoices and requests are addressed accurately and on time
• Process accounts payable, including vendor setup, invoice entry, coding, and payment preparation in Bill.com
• Support B2B sales operations by creating customer records and invoices in Bill.com, monitoring payments, and entering sales orders in NetSuite
• Maintain accurate records and assist with other accounting tasks as needed

Must Haves:

• 2+ years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting support, or a similar role
• Strong attention to detail
• Comfortable managing recurring processes
• Ability to stay organized while working across multiple systems
• Experience with NetSuite or other ERP systems is a plus
• Familiarity with Bill.com, Shopify, or similar platforms is a plus
• Positive, collaborative attitude and willingness to support the team as needed
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Work Location:

ROKA is located in Austin, TX, USA. The company is on a hybrid work schedule. Candidates must be prepared to work on-site as often as needed per the department's business needs. Remote candidates will not be considered for this position.
