Ad Operations Specialist

We are seeking an Ad Operations Specialist to manage, optimize, scale, and report on our digital marketing campaigns. In this role, you'll drive high-intent traffic, improve ROAS, support product launches, and help accelerate growth across ROKA's product line. You will work closely with our marketing, ecommerce, and creative teams to build, test, and refine strategies that fuel performance and revenue.
Responsibilities:
- Traffic, schedule, and QA digital ad campaigns across Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads, ensuring accurate setup of targeting, budgets, creative assets, and tracking parameters
- Build and maintain Meta Ads campaigns, coordinating with creative and marketing teams
- Build and maintain Google Ads campaigns across Search, Shopping, Performance Max, Display, and YouTube
- Manage keyword lists, negative keywords, audience segments, and bidding strategies within Google Ads
- Configure and troubleshoot conversion tracking in Google Ads, including setting up conversion actions and validating data accuracy
- Support SEO initiatives and ensure paid and organic search strategies work together effectively
- Build custom dashboards and explorations in GA4 to surface campaign performance insights
- Monitor all campaign pacing and performance daily, flagging issues and making tactical adjustments as needed
- Ensure proper UTM tagging, pixel implementation, and conversion tracking across all campaigns
- Pull performance reports and assist with weekly/monthly reporting on key metrics
Must Haves:
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience trafficking campaigns in Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads (Search, Shopping, Display, YouTube) ideally at a Direct to Consumer or E-commerce company
- Strong understanding of campaign structure, audience targeting and bidding strategies
- Strong proficiency with Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Google Tag Manager, and Google Merchant Center
- Experience navigating GA4 for campaign analysis and conversion validation
- Strong proficiency with Google Tag Manager for tag deployment and troubleshooting
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive recommendations
- Experience with ChatGPT ads or other emerging AI chat advertising platforms a plus
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently
ROKA is located in Austin, TX, USA. The Company is on a hybrid work schedule. Candidates must be prepared to work on-site as often as needed per the Department's business needs. Remote candidates will not be considered for this position.
