Job Description

The Inventory Analyst is responsible for maintaining the accuracy of inventory records and transactions to ensure reliable and timely inventory data. This role involves daily monitoring and optimization of stock levels through comprehensive analysis of transaction data, enabling prompt correction of any discrepancies within the NetSuite ERP system. The Inventory Analyst ensures accurate inventory reporting and alignment with external partners. Additionally, this position conducts regular audits of inventory records and thoroughly investigates any variances.

Responsibilities

  • Works in coordination with the operations teams to ensure accurate inventory reporting.
  • Manage inventory database within NetSuite.
  • Set up and manage data within NetSuite, including inventory items, assemblies, and bills of material.
  • Collaborate with Operations team to optimize inventory levels and deployment decisions.
  • Manages the process of Physical Inventories and ensures timely updates to our databases.
  • Audits transaction records to ensure thoroughness and accuracy, with specific focus on quantity, date, and costing.
  • Audit inventory valuation and ledger reports to identify and correct costing mistakes.
  • Analyze data to recommend improvements for efficiency and cost reduction.
  • Works with the Finance team to ensure correct costing.
  • Collaborate with DTC and Retail teams to assist with data transparency and analysis.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience as an Inventory Analyst within the CPG industry
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, or Business
  • ASCM certification preferred
  • Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP system
  • Demonstrated expertise with data analysis and best practice inventory data management
  • Ability to work independently and cooperatively, exceptionally high level of attention to detail
  • Highly collaborative and self-motivated with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced Excel Skills (formulas, pivot tables, macros)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience communicating to multiple departments
  • Humility within leadership and a stead-fast desire to arrive at the best possible solution through collaboration
  • Desire and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to meet aggressive deadlines and figure out complex issues.
