Production Coordinator

General summary: This position supports the production manager in all services necessary for the basic operation of the production department. This position is responsible for the flow of product between vendors and factories and coordinates shipments with agents and warehouses.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the flow of information to sales force and customer service.
  • Enter all work in process; update all changes correctly with prices, factories, XF.
  • Style master, QRS, UPC
  • Troubleshoot shipping and delivery issues.
  • Coordinate shipments with agents and warehouses.
  • Manage selling off of closed out items and sample room.
  • Other duties as required.
  • Buy shoes and source to various countries.
  • Monitor the flow of goods to ensure punctual delivery and cost effectiveness.
  • Monitor costs, calculate margins and monitor inventory levels. Create production schedules.
  • Supervise writing of buys and sourcing to various countries.
  • Oversees and monitors delivery of all orders placed in various countries.
  • Participates in production decisions concerning new line products.
  • Participates in determining product costs and resource needs.
  • Responsible for managing inventory levels.
  • Special projects as needed.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Education, Licenses, Certificates, Registrations and/or Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 4-6 years' experience in related field.

Language Skills:

  • Good verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Good interpersonal skills required.

Full time positions: The expected base salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $75,000. Ranges are based on various factors such as relevant skillset, training, years of experience related to the current job description, education, and our organizational structure.
