The Role:
Lead fulfillment cost and quality optimization initiatives starting with large-scale retrofit programs and the launch of new fulfillment centers. This role is accountable for planning, coordination, and execution across the full lifecycle of projects from design and contracting through go-live and stabilization. The Program Manager will ensure retrofit work is phased to protect operations, manage external partners, and align internal stakeholders across operations, tech, product, finance, and facilities. Over time, this role will flex into broader network optimization and productivity initiatives as launch work matures.
Responsibilities:
Support definition of project scope, risks, dependencies, and stage gates prior to committing resources
Manage integrated project plans, timelines, budgets, and milestones across multiple workstreams
Coordinate retrofit phasing and cutovers to maintain safety, service levels, and operational continuity
Support fulfillment center launches, including permitting, construction coordination, equipment installation, IT/WMS cutover, operational readiness, and launch hypercare
Assist with RFPs, SOWs, change orders, and ongoing vendor performance tracking
Partner closely with Operations, CI, Tech, Product, Finance, Legal, Facilities, Safety, Supply Chain, and HR to drive execution
Build and maintain capacity views, readiness trackers, KPIs, and basic ROI inputs to inform decision-making
Track risks, escalate issues, and support corrective actions to keep projects on plan
Document lessons learned and contribute to standard playbooks and launch templates
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or equivalent practical experience
3+ years of project or program management experience in fulfillment, logistics, manufacturing, or fast-paced startup environments
Experience supporting retrofit and/or greenfield launches with multiple vendors and partners
Strong organizational and execution skills across concurrent projects and timelines
Familiarity with approval workflows, capital tracking, and basic ROI analysis
Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, including trackers, dashboards, and light modeling
Clear communicator with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams
Working knowledge of WMS, material handling equipment, automation, permitting, or regulatory requirements
Lean or Six Sigma exposure is a plus

Job Information:
Compensation Description - The base salary range for this position is $90,000-$110,000/Per Year.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and geographic location.
Total Compensation includes Base Salary, Stock Options, Health and Wellness Benefits, Flexible PTO, and more!
This position requires traveling to our HQ office in Los Angeles, California, twice a year for all-company summits; once in the summer and once in the winter.
