Inventory Analyst

Thuma is seeking an Inventory Analyst to join our expanding team. Reporting to the Head of Finance & Planning, this role will be responsible for handling the tactical responsibilities of inventory planning, including tracking purchase orders from order placement to our Distribution Center, monitoring transfers, maintaining accurate and up-to-date data across systems, and preparing reports that enable the team to make informed business decisions. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for individuals eager to develop a career in inventory planning, supply chain, or operations within a fast-growing consumer brand.

Thuma's Headquarters is based in the historic Presidio neighborhood of San Francisco. The role involves three days in the office each week and occasional additional days as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist planners with purchase orders including keying orders into system, sending to vendors, and managing corrections and revisions to purchase orders.
  • Assist planners with running weekly & monthly reports.
  • Manage inventory planning shared email and maintain communication with vendors to confirm and track purchase orders and communicate revisions.
  • Maintain item master data in the company's ERP system. Work closely with merchandising & sourcing teams to create new SKUs, assign relevant product attributes, and maintain up to date product costs.
  • Maintain accurate expected receipt dates for all assigned PO's within system.
  • Prepare a weekly transfers list to send out allocations to stores. Work closely with the operations team to ensure transfers were sent out efficiently.
  • Monitor weekly backorder report to ensure systems are operating effectively.
  • Monitor slow moving inventory and make recommendations to senior management regarding.
