We are seeking a Senior Product Designer (UX) to join our Product organization and help shape the future of Sur La Table's digital experience. This is a senior individual contributor role with broad ownership across e-commerce, CMS driven content, and internal tools.

You will play a critical role in defining and executing a UX roadmap that drives engagement, conversion, and long-term customer value. This includes deeply connecting our core entities, products, recipes, and culinary classes, into a cohesive and inspiring experience that supports both customer needs and business outcomes.

This role is ideal for a senior designer who balances systems thinking with hands on execution, helping evolve an existing design system while rapidly designing, testing, and iterating to drive consistency and efficiency across delivery. This position will report into the Director of Product Management & UX.

Who You Are

• Senior-level UX or Product Designer with strong experience in e-commerce or content-rich digital experiences.
• Comfortable operating in ambiguity and bringing structure to evolving teams and processes.
• Equally scrappy and methodical, able to move quickly while maintaining high standards of craft.
• Passionate about customer experience, storytelling, and premium brand expression.
• Collaborative by nature, with the ability to influence without authority.
• Curious, adaptable, and eager to teach and learn alongside cross-functional partners.

What You Bring

• Strong portfolio demonstrating UX thinking, visual craft, and measurable impact on engagement or conversion.
• Experience designing, scaling, and maintaining design systems.
• Hands-on experience with CRO experimentation and usability testing.
• Data-informed design mindset with comfort using insights to guide decisions.
• Advanced proficiency in Figma and modern design workflows.
• Practical experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Figma AI, or similar to support rapid ideation, prototyping, and system development.
• Ability to clearly articulate design rationale to diverse stakeholders.
