✨ About The Role
- The FSQA Manager will support the development and maintenance of Tovala's Food Safety and Quality Systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- This role involves managing customer and consumer complaint programs, including documentation, trend reporting, and initiating corrective actions.
- The manager will develop and implement quality and food safety programs, policies, and procedures to meet internal and third-party requirements.
- Monitoring and verifying preventive controls and critical control points for food safety plans will be a key responsibility.
- The position requires conducting internal audits and following up on corrective actions, as well as performing pre-op and post-op inspections.
⚡ Requirements
- The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in food manufacturing production, quality assurance, or laboratory settings.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in people management is required, with a preference for candidates who have led teams of five or more.
- Candidates should possess chemical handling experience and be proficient in Microsoft Office and quality management systems.
- Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to effectively manage customer and consumer complaint programs.
