- The Packaging Senior Buyer will manage day-to-day and long-term packaging purchases and releases from vendors.
- This role involves maintaining delivery item statuses and coordinating logistics issues with receiving staff.
- The candidate will work closely with Inventory, FSQA, and Production teams to ensure quality materials are received on schedule.
- The position requires managing 3rd Party Logistics coordination to and from production facilities and vendors.
- The successful candidate will implement a vendor performance rating system to monitor and evaluate vendor performance.
⚡ Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or a related field is preferred, along with 8+ years of experience in a procurement role.
- Experience in the packaging industry and technical knowledge is highly valued for this position.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to follow through on tasks are essential for success.
