✨ About The Role
- The Demand & Retail Planning Manager will be responsible for creating retail sales plans by SKU for various retailers, considering market trends and customer demand.
- This role involves collaborating with sales and marketing teams to build forecasts for new product launches and adjusting forecasts post-launch as necessary.
- The manager will oversee all aspects of demand management, from new product forecast setup to ongoing monitoring and communication with the supply planning team.
- Tracking operating results, such as retailer fill rates, and proposing process improvements for optimal fulfillment methods will be part of the job.
- The candidate will participate in the annual budget and reforecast process with the Finance team, ensuring alignment across departments.
⚡ Requirements
- The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Supply Chain, Economics, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of related experience in Supply Chain is required, with 3-5 years specifically in forecasting or demand planning in the Beauty or CPG industry preferred.
- Strong analytical skills are essential, as the candidate must be comfortable working with multiple sources of data to identify insights and solve problems.
- The successful candidate will possess expert knowledge in distribution and inventory management techniques, processes, and policies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to react quickly to changes in demand and inventory are crucial for this role.
- The candidate should have strong organizational skills and attention to detail, enabling them to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
