Director of Physical Inventory Management

The Director of Inventory Management, in partnership with the Inventory Accounting team oversees the physical inventory storage, movement and accuracy globally.  This is accomplished through inventory cycle counts, identifying defects, researching, and analyzing the root causes of defects, and determining the best way to eliminate future, similar defects. Determine and administer controls, policies and procedures related to inventory accuracy, shrinkage, process improvements, and the storage Vuori product.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Lead inventory management teams across multiple sites in developing inventory strategy; drive inventory related decision making across various distribution channels.
• Effectively execute network level inventory planning and optimization, establishing warehouse inventory control, and defining operational goals for inventory management
• Measure inventory accuracy and determine root cause analysis behind the variances as well as communicate and take corrective action.
• In partnership with the Inventory Accounting team, create and maintain documentation and standard operating procedures for inventory management processes and systems.
• Develop and measure key performance indicators to track and evaluate inventory performance, to assist in assessing the effectiveness of the inventory management function, and to work towards continuous improvement.
• Lead & supervise front-line supervisors and hourly employees in Inventory Control / Quality Assurance operations within the fulfillment center.
• Partner with the senior on-site leadership teams to drive quality at all levels within the Facility.
• Work closely with the other departments within the facility to educate and to understand how functions affect the inventory.
• Lead the execution of cycle counts as required in all facilities holding Vuori inventory.
• Teaching and influencing managers and associates on the importance of Inventory Control & Quality Assurance.
• Build strong relationships and collaboration, managing trusted stakeholder relationships internally and externally.
• Drive inventory improvement initiatives to fruition and results; champion change and continuous process improvement
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in Business
• Minimum Five (5) years of experience in a similar role within warehousing.
• Experience managing within a Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• Strong analytical, mathematical or data analysis bias.
• Experience with Lean, Continuous Improvement and Six Sigma tools
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel (Minimum Intermediate Level) &, Word, Visio, and PowerPoint.
• Bi-lingual (Spanish) is preferred, not required.

Pay Range: $135,000 - $160,000
