Job Description
Vuori is looking for a Sr. Manager, Retail Analytics to join our Retail team to deliver data-driven insights that power store performance, operational decisions, and retail growth. This individual will be responsible for analyzing key retail KPIs, summarizing performance drivers, and presenting clear, actionable insights to guide decision-making. With expertise in turning complex data into simple, business-ready narratives, this role will be instrumental in ensuring our leaders have the visibility and context they need to drive results. This position is highly focused on analytics, storytelling with data, and decision support. The Senior Manager, Retail Analytics will play a critical role in shaping how Vuori evaluates performance, identifies opportunities, and plans across our retail fleet.
What You'll Get To Do:
- Performance Analytics & Reporting
- Develop and deliver recurring and ad hoc business performance reviews.
- Lead the analysis of sales, traffic, conversion, AOV, labor productivity, and other critical retail KPIs, ensuring the consistent, timely, and accurate delivery of performance insights.
- Forecasting & Planning
- Lead the implementation and management of retail sales forecasting and contribute to planning processes by analyzing and modeling with historical data, comp trends, initiatives, and external market factors.
- Decision Support
- Present actionable, data-driven insights to senior leadership across store performance, product sales, operations productivity, consumer behavior, marketing effectiveness, and markdown/promotion initiatives.
- Develop business cases and "what if" scenarios for identified risks, opportunities, and potential initiatives.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Manage relationships with Data & Analytics teams to ensure infrastructure, data models, and tools align with retail reporting needs. Translate business needs into technical requirements.
- Partner with retail operations, store teams, planning, merchandising, finance, and analytics teams to provide insights that inform retail strategies and store-level decision-making.
- Continuous Improvement
- Drive process improvements and adoption of advanced analytical techniques in how retail data is captured, analyzed, and communicated.
- Establish best practices for performance measurement and data storytelling across the retail team.
- Stay current on industry benchmarks, competitive trends, and emerging retail analytics practices to bring new thinking into Vuori's approach.
Qualifications
Who You Are:
- 10+ years of experience delivering actionable retail insights, advanced business analytics, or related fields; apparel or specialty retail experience preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Economics, or equivalent years of experience preferred; advanced degree a plus.
- Strong analytical and logical thinking skills; able to define measurement frameworks starting from a business problem, identify relevant metrics, and synthesize data into clear narratives that drive executive-level decision-making.
- Highly collaborative team player with a proven ability to build strong relationships and influence outcomes without formal authority; consistently recognized as a positive and motivating presence.
- Technically proficient in data extraction and transformation (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python); experienced in summarizing data through visualization and presentation tools (e.g., Tableau, MicroStrategy, Power BI); familiar with data management.
- Experience building forecasts and setting business targets, with end-to-end ownership of performance analysis and projection—preferably within retail environments.
- Experience in one or more areas of analysis to optimize store workforce planning, inventory, consumer acquisition/retention, new retail locations, price optimization, or marketing ROI.
- Excellent communication skills—capable of presenting complex analyses in a simple, compelling way to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience collaborating with data engineering and visualization teams to design and improve workflows.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
- Naturally curious and committed to continuous learning; actively explores emerging trends, techniques, and use cases in analytics beyond direct work experience.

The salary range for this role is $137,300 per year - $176,610 per year. This role is bonus eligible.
