Funny name, serious business

We are a leading eco-friendly household essentials business and we donate 50% of our profits to help everyone gain access to clean water and a toilet. As of June 2024, we've contributed over $18 million AUD to this mission. Basically, we're really good at making it easy to do good.

We operate scaling businesses in the UK, US, and Australia (Canada, soon). Our amazing team is based in Australia, the UK, the Philippines, China, and the US. Our 250+ people make the biggest possible impact for people and the planet. Over the next 5-10 years, we're hoping to increase our annual donation tenfold to get us closer to our dream of everyone in the world having access to clean water and sanitation services.

A Bit About The Role

The Post Production Producer is the core engine ensuring all our video and audio content is brilliantly polished, perfectly timed, and ready to share with the world. You'll be the bridge between our creative vision and the final deliverable, leading an initial team of three PH Hub Editors to maximize output, drive efficiency, and make a real impact from the Philippines!

If you worked here this past month here are some things you might have been involved in:

  • Led the weekly post-production team capacity meeting, allocating work and managing the timelines for the three PH Hub Editors.
  • Provided strategic recommendations and status updates to the Video Lead, Senior Video Producer, and Production Coordinator on project status.
  • Designed and implemented a new, streamlined project file organization structure across the team to enhance collaboration and speed up asset retrieval.
  • Creatively reviewing edits to make sure they are hitting brief and for any basic quality control checks before they go through next layer of review.
  • Developed a creative solution to an urgent, unexpected technical roadblock related to video export settings to ensure a key campaign met its deadline.
  • Partnered with the Video Lead and Producer to define the trade-offs (cost, time, or scope) for a major project, guiding informed decision-making.
  • Anticipated potential delays across multiple timelines and proactively communicated detailed updates to all relevant cross-functional teams.
  • Has been proactive in reaching out to the various cross functional stakeholders to better understand the business and ways of working.

Let's Talk About You

You're a creative leader and a contextual problem-solver

You thrive on translating high-level brand and DTC goals into actionable post-production strategies, ensuring every video not only meets technical standards but actively enhances the creative vision. You don't just wait for problems, you anticipate them. When faced with a challenge, you are the voice of reason, providing clear, well-reasoned explanations for the impact of different choices and helping the team make the best, informed decisions for the final product.

You are the engine of operational excellence

You possess Technical Post-Production Mastery, leading highly organized and efficient file systems, proactively suggesting workflow improvements, and optimizing technical execution for the entire team. You are meticulous about Project & Workflow Management, excelling at creating realistic delivery timelines, anticipating roadblocks, and tightly managing team capacity and priorities to ensure flawless, on-time delivery across multiple competing demands.

You're a natural collaborative mentor and partner

You partner effectively with the Video Lead, Senior Video Producer, Senior Video Editor, and Production Coordinator, supporting their leadership and fostering a positive, inclusive, and fun team environment. You see your success in the growth of your team, actively sharing your knowledge and expertise to mentor and develop the three PH Hub Editors, ensuring continuous skill improvement and maintaining a focus on high standards of creative diligence.

You give a crap

Do you want your work to make the world a better place? Do you want to work with other people who feel the same way? What a coincidence β€” us too!

Why Should You Work With Us?

First off, as a certified B Corpβ„’, we work to make a difference every day while maintaining the highest standards of social and environmental impact. With our most recent score of 125.5 we're in very good company with other exceptional B Corps around the world.

We also believe that helping to make the world a better place should be rewarded accordingly – that's why we offer competitive, market informed salaries, meaningful support towards healthcare for our team around the world, generous paid leave, tailored learning and development opportunities, and free toilet paper (yes, you read that right). Our engagement surveys (thanks Culture Amp!) tell us that our team is really proud (95%) to work for Who Gives A Crap and, well, we couldn't be more proud of that.

Have You Made It This Far?

If you're still reading, we think there's a strong chance you might be our kind of person. Here's the thing, though β€” research suggests that 60% of women and underrepresented folks might have already talked themselves out of applying. Even if you don't check every box above, we want to encourage you to introduce yourself. We believe a diversity of perspectives and experiences makes a team stronger β€” and the stronger our team, the closer we are to delivering toilets and clean water for all.
